The Researcher will support the extension of the Media Ownership Monitor (MOM) Germany project undertaking a research and mapping exercise to document and analyze the political influencer landscape in Germany. This initiative aims to create transparency about public discourse and opinion formation in the digital sphere. The researcher will investigate political influencers, document their interconnected networks and audience reach, and contribute to the development of a unique database cataloging influential political voices across Germany's diverse social media landscape.
The research phase begins in early June, with final results scheduled for publication on the project website by mid-November 2025. Residence in Berlin or the surrounding area is desirable, as regular in-person consultations are planned. Candidates must be available to participate in the first training session in Berlin on June 12, 2025.
