Requirements

We seek a Facility Manager to oversee our Berlin production studio's daily operations. This hands-on role involves maintaining infrastructure, managing deliveries, and ensuring readiness for broadcasts. You will coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to keep the studio safe, functional, and compliant with German regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee studio upkeep: cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
2. Manage building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, access control) with preventive maintenance focus
3. Maintain production, backstage, and audience areas
4. Handle logistics, including shipments and international deliveries
5. Coordinate with customs and shipping partners
6. Manage storage and inventory systems
7. Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met
8. Lead relationships with external service providers
9. Track operational budget and manage invoices
10. Keep documentation up to date

Ideal candidates have practical instincts, system management skills, and experience in managing venues or operational environments. Knowledge of building systems, proactive maintenance, vendor management, and fluency in German and English are essential.
