The ANNAX Group has been part of the Wabtec Corporation Group since 2018, with 3 locations in Germany, Switzerland, and China, and over 360 employees. Our rail industry system solutions include ANNAX passenger information with integrated subsystems such as seat reservation, passenger counting, video surveillance, information for the blind and deaf, infotainment/entertainment systems, and more.

To strengthen our team, we are seeking a HR Generalist (m/f/d) at our Munich-Brunnthal site.

What you can expect :

The HR Generalist manages employee support activities and ensures smooth operations of all HR issues at the local site.

Responsibilities :

  1. Support all stages of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, serving as the first contact for HR-related administrative issues for a defined employee group, including employment law, employment contracts, change agreements, reference letters, and payroll preparation.
  2. Provide competent advice to employees and managers on local policies, processes, and labor law topics.
  3. Maintain personnel data in HR systems such as Workday and ATOSS time tracking.
  4. Create reports and summaries for HR controlling.
  5. Collaborate trustfully and cooperatively with the local works council.
  6. Assist the HR Manager in designing and implementing new HR processes and contribute to developing, optimizing, and implementing local HR guidelines.
  7. Support targeted personnel development initiatives.
  8. Plan and execute independent HR projects.
  9. Conduct job interviews, oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, and organize participation in job fairs.

What you bring with you :

  1. Bachelor's degree in HR or a comparable qualification, such as apprenticeship with additional HR specialization; further training as an HR specialist is advantageous.
  2. Minimum of three years' professional experience as an HR generalist.
  3. Knowledge of labor law, especially regarding collective agreements, and ability to work cooperatively with the works council.
  4. Fluent German and advanced English skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate within a matrix organization.
  6. Proficiency with HR management systems like Workday, ATOSS, and Microsoft Office tools.
