Pamela Kiewitt, our Head of Technical Support, is looking to strengthen the team with a talented Support Engineer, to join our office in Berlin or in Ettlingen (near Karlsruhe).

What you will be doing at Nexus
The Support Engineer role is complex and key at Nexus. This is no 'turn it off and on again' support — our cases are usually very complex and require a high level of product knowledge and understanding of related areas such as networking, databases, containers, certificates, etc.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Taking ownership of support tickets, responding promptly, and delivering quality solutions professionally.
- Advising customers & partners on product use and applications.
- Troubleshooting issues via web meetings.
- Understanding technical issues and the customer's history to identify patterns and common points.
- Enhancing the customer experience with our products and services.
- Collaborating closely with Engineering and Sales teams to direct customer questions or requests.
- Providing feedback for organizational improvements.
- Understanding practical applications, advantages, and shortcomings of our products.
- Building long-lasting relationships with customers and partners.
- Representing Nexus globally.
About you

- You are open-minded, flexible, and capable of working independently or in a team.
Qualifications
- You have an IT or Engineering background and ideally experience in technical support.
- You are confident in networking and familiar with containers.
- You are comfortable working in German and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PKI and IT Security is a plus, but not mandatory — we’re happy to teach you.
