YOUR TASKS:

You are responsible for the provision of the network architecture and its further development.

You take the lead in award procedures (also according to EU law) for hardware, software and appliances as well as services in the specialist areas of LAN, Internet and WAN as well as data center LAN.

You are responsible for capacity management.

You take over the administration and operation of highly available network architectures based on the manufacturer Cisco (LAN/WAN infrastructures) and security solutions (firewall, NAC, 802.1x etc.).

You are responsible for analyzing and resolving system malfunctions in the context of production operations in the area of 2nd and 3rd level support.

By analyzing log information, you contribute to improving IT security and increasing performance.

YOUR PROFILE:

Completed studies, e.g. in a STEM subject or equivalent training in the IT environment and several years of relevant professional experience.

You already have several years of professional experience in the administration and operation of Cisco components.

You have extensive knowledge of routing and switching and ideally have Cisco certification.

Familiarity with the following Cisco components (desirable): Nexus, Catalyst, ASA, Firepower, ISE, ASR, Prime.

You are characterized by a committed, independent and reliable way of working.

You have strong communication skills, are quick on the uptake and highly flexible.

You think and act in a customer-oriented manner and enjoy working in a team.

We are looking for a Network Specialist (f/m/d) in our Workplace and Network team in our IT division. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the administration, analysis and troubleshooting of system solutions.
