Electronic Engineer-Technical Supply Management (m/w/d)

Are you ready to take on the challenge of shaping cutting-edge space technologies? In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers working with our external suppliers to develop tailor-made electronic units for satellite applications, often pushing the boundaries of technical feasibility. Your Tasks

  • Take technical ownership of electronic unit suppliers for satellite missions
  • Define and manage requirements, including verification planning and tracking
  • Evaluate and negotiate technical changes in coordination with stakeholders
  • Review supplier documentation and lead technical reviews with subcontractors
  • Monitor and control key technical budgets (e.g. power consumption, data rates, memory allocation, discrete interfaces)
  • Coordinate and harmonize electrical interfaces across subsystems and units
  • Provide technical support to suppliers in the design, simulation, and analysis of electronics for space applications

Your Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional experience in electronics development for the space industry
  • Solid understanding of satellite subsystems, including power distribution and thermal control
  • Familiarity with communication protocols and data-handling interfaces used in satellites (e.g., SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, SpaceFibre)
  • Knowledge of relevant standards such as ECSS and MIL
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

  • Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar languages
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
