Job Description:
This role reports to the European SRM and Pricing Director. The main purpose is to develop and drive the Royal Canin European Pricing & SRM strategy through the specific capability of Pricing and support its deployment across all 28 EU markets, including operational tools & best practice sharing. The role interacts with local markets, enabling analysis and development of optimized pricing and pack-price architectures. As the lead of the European Pricing practice, this expert role drives improved SRM pricing capabilities across markets, strengthening local delivery of portfolio, brand, and channel pricing activities.

Knowledge/Experience
- Experience partnering across organizations to analyze internal & external data, drawing insights and forming recommendations based on consumer and commercial knowledge aligned with business strategy.
- Proven track record of translating strategies into results and engaging with senior leaders, simplifying complex concepts.
- Functional/technical understanding of pricing, including:
- Pricing Strategy (Critical): Understanding of price-value impacts across the 5C’s (Category, Consumer, Customer, Competitor, Company).
- Pricing Analysis (Critical): Experience monitoring and analyzing market and internal pricing architectures, scenario planning for portfolio cost changes.
- Pricing Implementation (Preferred): Knowledge of deploying cost price changes within markets.
- Strong commercial and financial skills, understanding impacts on P&L, and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Analytical, influencing, and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Build pricing capabilities across markets, deploying best practices and supporting tool deployment and compliance.
- Guide market development of portfolio pricing analysis and strategies, collaborating to address market challenges.
- Provide regional SRM support, maintaining connectivity with local teams.
- Deliver guidance on Floor Prices, governance, and monitoring for launches and ongoing price maintenance.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Leading regional strategic and tactical pricing efforts, establishing relationships, and providing expert guidance.
- Deploying best-in-class pricing playbooks and sharing best practices.
- Driving implementation of local pricing strategies and fostering a mindset shift towards continuous improvement.
- Championing healthy pricing corridors and cross-border compliance.
- Providing regional support through collaboration with local SRM/PH teams, developing capabilities, and enhancing performance.
