As “Analyst Network Planning (m/f/d)”, you will be an important part of the Network Planning team of SunExpress, a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, with the main task of closely analyzing and evaluating the network performance of SunExpress and its partner airlines to drive actionable insights.



Responsibilities

  • Improve the existing network of SunExpress and its partners based on pre-defined KPIs.
  • Help to develop and establish new routes and destinations.
  • Build and maintain models to forecast demand, revenue, and profitability across various routes.
  • Continuously monitor the booking development and competitor landscape.
  • Internal coordination with sales, revenue management, scheduling, business intelligence, strategy, and operational departments.
  • Project work and preparation of board/decision papers.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, statistics, or aviation.
  • Experience with forecasting models and demand analysis.
  • Ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets to drive actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Broaden understanding and knowledge of the global airline industry with a focus on Europe.
  • Previous work experience in the transport/logistics industry and/or in data analytics/engineering is advantageous.
  • Very good MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data and findings.
  • Very good English speaking and writing skills.
  • German language speaking skill is favorable.
