Snowflake Data Architect (Ref : 2rlZJ)

We are currently seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Architect to join our client team in the Data Platform Solutions division, responsible for implementing complex data and analytics projects.

As a Snowflake Data Architect (f / m / d), you will be part of an innovative and growing team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Snowflake data warehouses and data pipelines. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate closely with various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Design modern Snowflake data platform architectures, from initial discussions to technological implementation.
2. Identify data use cases and select suitable technologies for optimal implementation.
3. Plan and actively support migration projects from on-premises landscapes to the Snowflake data platform.
4. Engage in internal laboratory projects, develop the data & analytics portfolio, and support pre-sales activities.
5. Mentor and lead motivated colleagues.
6. Contribute to the development of the advisory portfolio through conferences, certifications, and testing new insights in customer projects.

Required Skills:

1. Enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge about applications, technologies, and tools in data & analytics.
2. Completed education in computer science or comparable training, with ideally practical experience in consulting or software engineering.
3. Deep understanding of the data & analytics landscape, capable of selecting and justifying the appropriate technology for various use cases.
4. Experience and enthusiasm for coordinating complex situations and representing Snowflake data platforms.
5. Extensive experience with Data Platform Solutions, especially Snowflake (and dbt, Fivetran, etc.) and/or Cloud Analytics Services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
6. Cloud software engineering expertise for provisioning native cloud landscapes and developing use cases with PaaS components.
7. Familiarity with different architectures and modeling approaches in Data & Analytics projects.
8. Excellent communication skills with stakeholders and team members.
9. High client orientation, fluent in German and English, and willingness to travel across Germany.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Fluent in German.
2. 6+ years of experience in data platforms and cloud, including:

• Design and implementation of cloud data platforms with data management via ETL/ELT
• Migration from OnPrem / Cloud to Cloud
• Test concepts
• CI / CD for data platforms
