Senior Principal Data Analyst (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead end-to-end analytics projects from scoping to delivery, providing actionable insights to business leaders.
2. Serve as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Finance, etc.), helping them leverage data to inform decisions.
3. Build advanced dashboards, visualizations, and predictive models to identify patterns and opportunities.
4. Design and oversee the implementation of scalable analytics frameworks and best practices.
5. Act as a technical mentor and peer reviewer to junior and senior analysts alike.
6. Translate complex data findings into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations.
7. Partner with data engineering and data science teams to ensure high data quality and efficient pipelines.
8. Continuously assess and improve analytical tools, processes, and methodologies.

Requirements:

1. 8+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with a proven track record of delivering business impact.
2. Expert-level SQL and strong skills in Python, R, or similar.
3. Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
4. Experience working with large, complex datasets (structured and unstructured).
5. Solid understanding of statistics, experimentation, and predictive modeling.
6. Strong business acumen and communication skills — able to translate data into strategy.
7. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics). PhD is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
2. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake).
