Senior Principal Data Analyst (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end analytics projects from scoping to delivery, providing actionable insights to business leaders.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Finance, etc.), helping them leverage data to inform decisions.
- Build advanced dashboards, visualizations, and predictive models to identify patterns and opportunities.
- Design and oversee the implementation of scalable analytics frameworks and best practices.
- Act as a technical mentor and peer reviewer to junior and senior analysts alike.
- Translate complex data findings into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations.
- Partner with data engineering and data science teams to ensure high data quality and efficient pipelines.
- Continuously assess and improve analytical tools, processes, and methodologies.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with a proven track record of delivering business impact.
- Expert-level SQL and strong skills in Python, R, or similar.
- Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Experience working with large, complex datasets (structured and unstructured).
- Solid understanding of statistics, experimentation, and predictive modeling.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills — able to translate data into strategy.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics). PhD is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake).
