The unit Foil is a key pillar of Speira’s business, serving customers in industries such as food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals. As the Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the management team of the business unit, playing an essential role in steering its financial performance and supporting strategic goals. This role offers high visibility within the Foil business and towards Speira’s Executive Management Team.

Challenges that will foster your growth

  1. Delivering top-tier business performance management:
  • Evaluating business performance and conducting insightful variance analysis
  • Financial planning based on a clear understanding of business trends and KPIs
  • Developing recommendations to optimize results and supporting improvement initiatives
  • Presenting financial performance to Speira’s Executive Management Team
  1. Business partnering to support commercial decisions:
  • Developing product portfolio strategies in collaboration with sales, production, and planning teams
  • Assessing business cases for growth initiatives
  • Providing financial data and analyses for customer negotiations
  • Evaluating profitability of new investments
  1. Leading projects and business improvement initiatives:
  • Developing new controlling tools and processes, often with external consultants
  • Leading cross-functional projects

Qualifications that will give you an edge

  • University degree in business administration, finance, economics, or relevant experience
  • 3-7 years of experience as a Finance Controller, Financial Manager, Management Consultant, or in Financial Services
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and results-oriented attitude
  • Experience in sales or production controlling is advantageous
  • Knowledge of the aluminium industry, especially rolling or recycling, is a plus
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
