We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to work within our Pre-Sales Team.

The role involves working with and supporting the sales team in all new business and existing opportunities within the EV Charging domain (CPO, EMSP, Utilities, Service Providers, etc.), to secure new solution sales and contracts. The candidate will liaise with other teams to ensure the best proposition is presented to meet client needs. The presales manager must also be comfortable exchanging solution knowledge with customers and prospects via excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Ideally, candidates will have a background and experience within the EV charging domain, or proven experience in other technical domains like Telecom, billing, CRM, etc. However, willingness and ability to learn new technologies and business modules is essential.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with qualification of opportunities and leads
  • Lead and coordinate demonstrations of the complete solution portfolio, including with C-level executives
  • Lead internal presales processes from opportunity to contract signing
  • Collaborate with Operations, Products, R&D, and other stakeholders
  • Act as solution architect in key bids to drive solutions forward
  • Engage with customers, prospects, and market experts to understand requirements and craft solution portfolios
  • Train internal staff on solution functionalities
  • Develop ROI and business case proposals for new prospects and exercises to justify the ROI of our solutions
  • Scope technical solutions to address customer requirements
  • Write technical proposals for commercial bids, RFQ, RFP, and proofs of concept
  • Communicate customer inputs to identify market trends and product improvements
  • Conduct training sessions for Driivz customers on product functionalities

Skills, ability, and experience :

  • English as a second language
  • Experience in Pre-Sales within Telecom or EV charging sectors is advantageous
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills for varied audiences
  • Background in electrical engineering is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
  • Self-motivated with a focus on quality service
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Commercially minded with strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements and key drivers
  • Ability to demonstrate business benefits and value to prospects of various seniorities
  • Translate technical and business requirements into cost-effective solutions
  • Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Sales teams
  • Willingness to travel
