About the job
The Risk & Controls function at Deutsche Bank, part of the Group Technology Infrastructure (GTI), supports GTI and TDI functions. GTI has the largest footprint within the Technology, Data, and Innovation division and collaborates with other CIO IT divisions. The Chief Strategy Office seeks a Risk officer to join a dynamic team that provides guidance, challenges, and ensures systems and solutions are secure and resilient.
You will contribute to TDI and GTI's strategic goals by enhancing solutions, transforming the Risk landscape, and improving operational resilience and risk reduction.
As a Risk & Change Officer, you will drive the risk contribution to the TDI and GTI strategy through audit and risk-related remediation, transformation, and change initiatives. If you feel you don't meet 100% of the criteria but are interested, we encourage you to send your CV!
Your key responsibilities
- Drive and Manage: Adhere to control strategies and frameworks across technology platforms, ensuring they reflect regulatory changes and align with TDI and Chief Strategy Office priorities.
- Change & Remediate: Provide technology risk expertise for strategic changes within TDI, monitor industry risk landscape shifts, and identify transformation opportunities to mitigate risks.
- Build, Network & Liaise: Develop productive networks, promote best solutions, and facilitate effective escalation practices.
- Lead & Senior Interaction: Offer thought leadership during change and engage effectively with senior stakeholders across divisions.
Your skills and experiences
- Several years in similar roles within a technology company, banking technology division, or IT audit, with at least 5 years in a risk and control role in a global organization.
- Deep understanding of industry risk landscape, regulatory expectations, and best practices such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 27001.
- Knowledge of project management, organizational change management, and process maturity, with a proven track record of influencing and driving change.

- Ability to lead and influence in a cross-cultural, diverse environment.
- Growth mindset with a track record of effective stakeholder engagement.
- Commitment to continuous learning, results-oriented, and capable of delivering under tight deadlines.
