Application Engineer BD Electronics, Secop Germany

Your Tasks

• Support customers in selecting the right Secop compressor and controller, maximizing the utilization of integrated functions, and ensuring successful integration into customer products.
• Assist customers during the integration of LIN and Modbus interfaces in hardware and software.
• Train customers on refrigeration best practices, battery- and solar-powered electronic compressors.
• Understand and describe customer requirements according to ASPICE standards to define new products.
• Act as the voice of the customer in projects, keep customers informed about project progress, and ensure the technical compatibility of products with customer appliances.
• Drive the introduction of new products and facilitate their successful integration into customer appliances.
• Oversee and manage the product lifecycle, including new product launches, change notifications, and end-of-life communications.
• Create and update datasheets, technical literature, and customer documentation in collaboration with R&D and marketing.
• Collaborate closely with key account managers to support sales both remotely and on-site.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Support R&D with testing and verification of new products in customer applications.

Your Qualifications

• University degree in Electronics or equivalent hands-on education in electronics.
• Experience in technical roles within the industry and with electronic systems.
• Broad understanding of key electrical parameters such as EMI, leakage current, control algorithms, and automotive communication standards.
• Technical knowledge of electronic integration.
• Bonus: Experience in the automotive industry / IATF 16949.
• Bonus: Knowledge of refrigeration or air conditioning.
• Bonus: Project management experience.
• Bonus: Customer handling experience.

Working Hours
