Job Description

  • Test Architecture Development: You will design end-to-end test systems including equipment selection, data logging strategy, and test fixture design—ensuring scalable and repeatable testing.
  • Prototype and Product Testing: You will plan and execute test strategies across development phases—covering prototypes, design verification, and final acceptance.
  • Compliance Testing: You will define and perform test procedures to meet international standards such as UL, CE, FCC, IEC, and BHMA.
  • Board-Level Testing: You will perform advanced signal, RF, and power analysis on PCBAs, considering thermal behavior and other performance-critical metrics.
  • Hardware-Software Test Systems: You will develop complex test systems to evaluate integrated solutions—bridging embedded software and electronics.
  • Design for Testability: You will advise our design teams on best practices for testability to improve product quality and reduce time-to-market.
  • Lab Operations & Tooling: You will support the setup and continuous improvement of lab infrastructure, processes, and in-house test tools.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Professional Experience: You bring several years of experience in electronics development, hardware testing, or lab-based R&D work.
  • Lab Equipment Skills: You are hands-on with instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RF signal generators.
  • RF Testing Knowledge: You have experience or strong interest in testing RF components and evaluating signal integrity, ideally at board level.
  • Test Development: You are confident designing and executing test procedures for electronic hardware throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Programming Knowledge: You are familiar with at least one scripting or programming tool like Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB to support test automation.
  • Team Collaboration: You work well in cross-functional teams and communicate confidently in both English and German with engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders.
  • Location Requirement: You are located within commuting distance of Puchheim and able to work regularly on-site.
