MORCHEM is a global leader in adhesive solutions for flexible packaging, technical applications, and textile lamination.

We are currently seeking an Area Manager for Northern Central Europe, based in Germany, to join our team.

What will be your main responsibilities?

Reporting to the Central Europe Sales Director, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, planning, and executing the sales targets for each market following the company sales strategy and objectives.
  • Managing and expanding the existing client portfolio while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for analyzing the purchasing trends, competitor positioning, and company presence in the assigned region.
  • Providing technical and commercial support to clients.
  • Addressing and managing internally customer requests.
  • Ensuring that customers, distributors, and agents receive adequate training and stay informed about product updates.
  • Working with the Commercial team to develop the annual sales budget and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related sciences.
  • Native-level German and fluency in English are essential. Fluent in Spanish is very valuable.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales or business development within one of the following sectors: adhesives, inks, sealants, packaging, polymers, or plastics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and a user of CRM systems.
  • A strong and persuasive communicator with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • A results-driven professional with a passion for sales, eager to explore new markets and inspire customers.
