The Specialist IT Enterprise Architect designs and implements an enterprise architecture management process and tool to provide transparency to the IT landscape. He/she leads the implementation of cross-functional applications, such as middleware, to enhance interoperability and efficiency. Additionally, he/she supports the development and implementation of the organization's data strategy, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
As a Specialist IT Enterprise Architect, you will establish key technologies and implement a process for evaluating new technologies to meet the organization's evolving needs.
- Define the EAM Strategy and Roadmap for Tires with very high complexity and business relevance, including aligning top management's strategy, framework, and activities related to EAM with stakeholders inside and outside the IT organization.
- Create and maintain transparency regarding the tools, IT services, and business processes in use within Tires organization, and develop (simplified) overviews for management and other stakeholders.
- Define, establish, and manage the EAM organization (EAM Community) with roles and responsibilities (Solution Architects within Competence Centers and Regions), and coordinate the EAM Community proactively.
- Define and manage strategic partnerships with dedicated suppliers (e.g., LeanIX).
- Lead all EAM-related projects or task forces in Tires IT.
- Conduct EAM trainings and consulting for stakeholders in the Tires organization.
Qualifications
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in enterprise architecture, project management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF), including experience with enterprise architecture management tools and processes.
- Knowledge of data management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT governance and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO, NIST).
- Business-fluent English and good German skills (written and spoken).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion.
