We are smartmicro, a leading specialist in high-performance automotive and traffic radar sensor technology. We design, develop, and manufacture high-tech radar sensors for autonomous driving, intelligent traffic infrastructure, and smart cities. Your Tasks

  1. You will develop image processing and tracking software in C / C++ and be partially responsible for developing our radar-camera fusion system for traffic management applications.
  2. Your work will range from basic image processing tasks to deep learning-based object detection algorithms and video tracking algorithms, which must be optimized and implemented for / on the target platform (DSP, ISP) to ensure real-time processing.
  3. You will collaborate closely with our radar tracking experts to develop sophisticated solutions for our radar-camera sensor fusion products.
  4. You will also be in contact with our R&D teams and customers worldwide.

Your Strengths

  1. You hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  2. You have experience in at least two of the following fields: image processing (e.g., OpenCV), deep learning, or video-based object tracking using Bayesian filtering.
  3. You are proficient in C / C++ and Python.
  4. Experience programming for target platforms including ISPs (Image Signal Processors), possibly using CUDA, is beneficial.
  5. You are innovative, motivated, and focused on the final product while working on algorithmic details.
