Activities

  • Leading contract negotiations with software vendors
  • Conducting market analyses to secure optimal purchasing conditions and identify potential savings
  • Managing and maintaining purchased and registered software licenses, including ensuring license compliance
  • Reviewing and validating commercial data to maintain an overview of costs and budgets
  • Managing contracts, including monitoring contract durations and adapting them to current needs and requirements
  • Applying IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategies to manage and optimize IT resources, especially in procurement and license management

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics, business administration, computer science, or a relevant education with several years of professional experience in procurement
  • Ideally, a job-relevant additional qualification, such as negotiation training, BME course in procurement, etc.
  • Strong system and process understanding, with practical experience with ERP and e-procurement systems
  • Extensive experience in IT asset management and basic data knowledge
  • Ability to cooperate, sociability, and conscientiousness
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken

Team

You will work for us in the Group Procurement department in the Global Category Management IT & Services team.
