As a Quality Supplier Management Employee (M / F / T), you will monitor the quality of the supplied products and ensure compliance with delivery specifications to optimize the business relationship between Flowserve and its suppliers. You will also collaborate with our Global Supplier Quality Management to define priorities, set targets, and evaluate results.

Ensuring supplier performance:

  1. Ensure that supplier indicators are met (monthly, yearly).
  2. Communicate with quality and other departments regarding product quality (Shop Floor Management).
  3. In case of deviations, prepare and track complaints until effective corrective actions are implemented and proven (SAP system).
  4. Check the implementation of actions after complaints.
  5. Perform regular supplier evaluations and communicate results to support supplier development.
  6. Plan and conduct on-site audits at suppliers worldwide.
  7. Participate in supplier selection and support complex projects based on APQP to ensure proactive supplier quality management.
  8. Prepare supplier evaluations and coordinate results with relevant departments and global quality management to meet Flowserve targets.
  9. Ensure compliance with normative requirements (Pressure Equipment Directive, ATEX, SIL, etc.) when delivering supplier documentation to customers.
  10. Define actions with quality and purchasing departments in case of deviations from normative requirements.

Your profile:

  1. Completed technical studies or training with a specialization in quality management, with further qualification as a technician.
  2. 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in metalworking.
  3. Auditor qualification and/or certification is desirable.
  4. Proficiency in German and English (minimum B2 level in English).
  5. Strong problem-solving skills, hands-on mentality, and creativity.
  6. Independent, goal-oriented, and structured work approach.
  7. Confident demeanor, teamwork skills, and reliability.
  8. Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
  9. Willingness to travel globally.
  10. Knowledge of normative requirements such as Pressure Equipment Directive, ATEX, SIL, and quality methods (e.g., APQP, PPAP, 8D) is advantageous.
