Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Redshift, you will develop systems that benefit global Redshift clusters. You will own the product vision, define new features and architecture, and translate complex requirements into valuable projects. You will handle end-to-end deliverables, lead projects, and mentor team members.

Redshift is a fully managed, AI-powered, petabyte-scale cloud data warehouse. Our team focuses on the execution engine, emphasizing scalability and performance. We are part of AWS Utility Computing, supporting services like S3, EC2, and others, to innovate and extend cloud capabilities.

Minimum requirements include experience in mentoring or leading engineering teams, designing scalable systems, proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, C++, or C#, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. Experience with the full software development lifecycle is also required.
