The holder of this position will be key member of the DACH Commercial team, responsible for conducting regular assessments within DACH region to identify training needs of both the DACH MASL and Sales team. You will be closely collaborating with Regional Sales Heads and MSL Heads to pinpoint specific skill gaps and areas for improvement within DACH cluster field teams. Additionally, you will be developing training programs, deliver training and support field performance, onboard new employees and collaborate with Marketing, Commercial Effectiveness and other key stakeholders.

What will your tasks as “Associate Director – Field Trainer Sales & Medical DACH (m / f / x)” be?

  • Conduct regular assessments within DACH region to identify the training needs of the both the DACH MSL and sales team. Also collaborate with DACH Regional Sales Heads and DACH MSL Heads to pinpoint specific skill gaps and areas for improvement within the DACH field teams.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the pharmaceutical environment in DACH region together with DACH team and L&D EMEA aligned with overall strategic objectives
  • Create materials and resources for product knowledge, sales techniques and customer engagement together with DACH team and L&D EMEA
  • Conduct training sessions through various formats, including workshops, webinars, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training within the DACH region.
  • Assist DACH Regional Sales Heads and DACH MSL Heads in developing performance improvement plans.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to help DACH field team members achieve their targets (CoVisits)
  • Incorporate Field Force Excellence into coaching and training activities to drive Field Force Excellence
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics (utilise data and performance metrics to continually refine training programs that drives field force excellence)
  • Ensuring quality and flexibility : Make necessary adjustments to training programs based on changing commercial and medical objectives, evaluation results, feedback from participants and changing conditions in the DACH market.
  • Develop and manage a structured onboarding process for new hires together with DACH team and L&D EMEA tailored to the pharmaceutical sales and medical environment in DACH region
  • Facilitate orientation sessions covering company culture, values, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide initial training on product knowledge, sales processes and CRM systems.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Commercial Effectiveness and Medical to ensure training content is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with commercial and medical teams while adapting EMEA strategies to local contexts and align training initiatives with overall business goals
  • Support the collection, analysis of clinical insights and support integration of key insights into shaping of medical strategies, tactics, tools, initiatives, and field intelligence.

Your requirements as a “Associate Director – Field Trainer Sales & Medical DACH (m / f / x)”?

  • Formal trainer education, certification, or equivalent qualification (e.g., Train-the-Trainer program, coaching certification).
  • Extensive experience in conducting professional training and coaching sessions tailored to the pharmaceutical industry and proficiency in facilitating engaging workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions as well as Co-Visits.
  • Proven experience in the German pharmaceutical market, particularly in the Rx (prescription drugs) sector.
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Prior experience as a pharmaceutical field sales representative and / or medical field role is highly desirable.
  • Ability to design and deliver training programs, focusing on both technical knowledge and soft skills.
  • Willingness to engage in a field-based position, working closely with Regional Sales Heads and MSL Heads.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery of training initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the DACH region.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  • This position will be working closely with Medical DACH, Sales DACH and L&D EMEA
  • This is a non-supervisory position for the time being
  • Willingness to travel frequently within DACH region ( 60% of the time )
  • The position will be field-based across Germany
  • Anticipated start date : 01.10.2025
