Amazon is seeking a dynamic and experienced Tour Manager to oversee our Tour Leader program at multiple Fulfillment Centers. This role involves managing a team remotely, delivering engaging tours, and traveling to various sites for observations, audits, and development. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for customer experience, and the ability to drive performance remotely.

Travel up to 25% required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and develop a team of Tour Leaders across multiple Robotics Fulfillment Centers remotely.
  2. Occasionally deliver high-quality Fulfillment Center tours to VIP audiences.
  3. Travel frequently to different locations to observe tours, conduct audits, and provide on-site coaching and feedback.
  4. Recruit, hire, and onboard new Tour Leaders to maintain staffing levels.
  5. Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure tours meet design and performance goals.
  6. Develop strategies to improve tour quality and Leader performance.
  7. Analyze feedback and metrics to identify improvement areas and implement actions.
  8. Ensure tours comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  9. Create and deliver training programs on new technologies and best practices.
  10. Manage tour schedules and capacity across locations to optimize resources.
  11. Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues.

A Day in the Life:

Your days will be varied. When working remotely, you'll check in with your team, review performance metrics, and provide guidance. When traveling, you'll observe tours, meet with local leadership, and conduct training sessions.

Qualifications:

Basic:

  • Experience in communications or public relations
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, or related field
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Fulfillment Center experience
