Support the Voith Group | Division Hydro as a

  • Review customers’ specifications, further legal / statutory requirements (Q related) and compare to VH standards aiming to identify main relationships and differences (if any), ensure proper requirements' management and compliance.
  • Review / issueproject-specific Quality Plans and documentation (e.g.: Inspection & Test Plans, QS, MGS).
  • Support the development of project-specific sourcing & manufacturing strategies and schedules, ensuring that all relevant quality activities and requirements are considered and consistent to the strategies.
  • Support, facilitate, review and release project-specific Design & Process FMEAs, verification and validation reports, ensuring proper method application, risk analysis & classification, actions definition and their implementation.
  • Ensure through process audits & verifications within VH (e.g., at Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Field Services) and based on project-specific data analysis that quality is being incorporated in processes.
  • Drive, support, and facilitate continuous improvement activities within VH (e.g., at Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Field Services) based on project-specific data analysis.
  • Monitor the Project Quality Budget and to inform the Project Manager and the Project Quality Manager accordingly (e.g. compliance with SFC value; proceeding in case of deviations.

Your profile

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material, as applicable) or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in Quality Management & Quality Engineering. Experience with Hydro MEGA / Complex Projects are an advantage.
  • Relevant professional experience and knowledge in business processes as well as in non-quality functions like Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, Purchasing.
  • 1st (Internal) and 2nd (Supplier) party auditor qualification acc. ISO 19011. Certification as Lead Auditor is an advantage.
  • Qualification in electrical, dimensional, NDT testing, Good Lean Management is an advantage.
  • English fluent, written and spoken (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Strong analytical expertise as well as result-oriented, solution-driven (pragmatic) and customer oriented working principle.
  • Experienced and willingness to work and cooperate in cross-functional teams.
