About the Role:

As a Senior Product Engineer, you will develop and enhance our new copyright product. Your responsibilities include hands-on product engineering, designing and implementing complex systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products. We are building a strong foundation for our company on these products, with significant investment planned. Our technology stack includes AWS, Java Springboot Microservices, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Postgres, S3, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, Docker/ECS/EKS, and Serverless frameworks, following agile methodologies and principles inspired by "Inspired" by Marty Cagan and "Accelerate" by Nicole Forsgren.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems as part of a product engineering team.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define requirements and create technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure code quality and best practices.
• Make critical technical decisions and guide technology and tool selection.
• Promote best development practices, including documentation, testing, and version control.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the product lifecycle.
• Stay updated with industry trends and integrate new technologies to enhance products.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering continuous learning and growth.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years of relevant product engineering experience.
• Experience in a senior or lead engineering role preferred.
• Proficiency in Java, web technologies, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Experience migrating from IBM systems.
• Proven success in delivering software products from concept to launch.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Passion for innovation and emerging technologies, with a focus on code quality and best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and take on new challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
