Technical Sales Manager – Additives for Wood & Paper Processing (m/f/d), Heilbronn

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand existing business, actively pursue new opportunities in décor paper impregnation/laminates, wood, and paper processing industries, with a focus on growth. Identify customer needs and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Develop customized solutions with specialized additives in collaboration with our R&D laboratory and oversee plant trials at customer sites.
  • Negotiate prices and contractual terms to meet sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competition to identify significant growth opportunities beyond organic expansion.

Qualifications:

  • University degree, applied sciences degree, or professional training in wood processing, paper manufacturing, impregnation, laminating, processing, or coatings, or relevant application technology experience.
  • Minimum two years of professional experience in the relevant field.
  • At least two years in sales or a related role involving technically complex products requiring explanation, with direct customer interaction.
  • Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approx. 60%), including international trips; valid driver’s license.
