About the opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join our Tech Foundations team, focusing on delivering exceptional experiences for our internal engineering community. This role involves using data to inform strategic decisions and building analytical foundations for a central function.

As part of the Tech Foundation Team, you will support Delivery Hero’s innovation and growth by working on systems that enhance feature development, security, and reliability across our global engineering community. Your work will directly impact our ability to build, scale, and deliver quality features to millions of users worldwide.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and Senior Leadership to analyze data (mainly in BigQuery), uncover insights, shape strategy, and measure impact. You will address strategic questions related to development velocity, operational costs, tool adoption, and ad-hoc analyses for our CTO. This role is crucial in ensuring the right products are built to improve developers' lives.

In this role you will:

• Define, track, and report on KPIs and measurement frameworks for Tech Foundations' products and services.
• Create dashboards and visualizations (using Tableau/Looker Studio) to communicate platform health, user behavior, costs, and trends.
• Analyze datasets from various sources (especially BigQuery) to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and assess platform impact on productivity and costs.
• Influence product strategy and prioritization by translating data insights into narratives and recommendations for Product Managers and Leadership.
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to define data requirements and ensure proper instrumentation for key user journeys.

Provide ad-hoc analysis and data support for strategic initiatives and leadership questions, including those from the CTO.

Qualifications

What you need to be successful

• Experience in product analysis or similar roles, with ability to translate data into insights.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets, preferably in Google BigQuery.
• Experience creating dashboards with BI tools like Tableau or Looker Studio.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with curiosity about technology use.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence diverse audiences.
• Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable with ambiguity; Python skills are a plus.
