Project managers are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they complete the expected outcome in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the process.

As part of BPR&DX, the project manager will take on roles for the Global HC transformation and other projects, collaborating with the business process champion as the business owner, and the business process architecture team.

The focus is on delivering business value, enabling stakeholders to scope the value of end-to-end business processes, and supporting timely business decisions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving and leading the project team
  • Collaborating with internal members and customers for smooth, on-time delivery at each project phase checkpoint
  • Developing the business case (value, ROI)
  • Designing the Target Operating Model (process, data, governance, tools/solutions, organization)
  • Evaluating and implementing tools/solutions
  • Managing communication
  • Preparing and executing change management plans
  • Addressing stabilization, enhancing, and validating project achievements for sign-off

Qualifications include:

  • Extensive project management experience, ideally in transformation projects
  • Experience in Human Capital or HR transformation projects
  • Strong global communication skills in English; Japanese language skills are a plus
  • Diversity & inclusion management skills
  • Leadership qualities
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methods
  • Ability to lead cross-business teams and convert requirements into actionable items
  • Effective planning and organizational skills

Preferred additional skills:

  • Change management experience
  • Agile, Scrum Master, or Product Owner experience or knowledge
  • Business architect experience
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, HR, Engineering, or related fields
  • Business or process analyst certification such as Lean Six Sigma
