Job Description

We are looking for an ILS Analysis Engineer, highly organized and detail-oriented, to join our team to support our client Spaceopal in Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the evolution of the ground infrastructure, including participation in reviews, supporting ILS analysis tasks, and the continuous improvement of existing operation support processes and procedures. You will support the daily operations of the Galileo ground infrastructure, assist local L1 maintenance teams with ILS issues, and manage logistics and documentation needs.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to ILS engineering and analysis tasks as part of the continuous improvement process and system evolutions.
  • Support the analysis of support policies applied to the Galileo System.
  • Review Logistic Support Analyses and harmonize data inputs for integration into GSOp tools.
  • Review RAMS and identify support gaps.
  • Review system obsolescence and its implications on operations.
  • Provide ILS inputs to inquiries and reports.
  • Manage data in ILS tools ensuring compliance with norms and standards.
  • Support operations, including L1 maintenance, regarding spares and support availability.
  • Maintain and update asset status information in central tools.
  • Participate in GSOp internal and external meetings, supporting ILS/CM reporting and coordination.
  • Liaise with local maintenance teams regarding ILS/CM interface.
  • Contribute to reviews of data packs from infrastructure providers for new releases/evolutions.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Informatics, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields with at least 2 years of experience; or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong technical background in ILS disciplines and tasks.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in MS Office and standard office tools.
  • Hands-on, systematic, self-organized, and able to prioritize tasks.
  • EU citizenship is required.

This is a full-time position based at Spaceopal headquarters in Munich, Germany, with potential travel across Europe for meetings.
