Job Description:

Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH in Kassel is seeking a Systemingenieur Kamera- und Fahrersichtsysteme (m/w/d). This full-time, permanent role involves working in an interdisciplinary team to conceive, specify, and integrate camera and driver-assistance systems across our vehicle portfolio. The focus is primarily on electronics, functionality, and software. Responsibilities include technical coordination with internal departments and potential suppliers.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze current and future customer requirements
• Plan, execute, and document concept studies and prototype setups
• Specify system requirements for camera and driver-assistance systems
• Plan and conduct development activities in accordance with ISO 26262
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors

Qualifications:

• Completed engineering/science degree or comparable (e.g., electrical engineering, communications, computer science)
• Experience with camera technology and image processing
• Experience with ISO 26262 compliant development
• FPGA programming experience is desirable
• Knowledge of systems engineering and MBSE tools is advantageous
• Structured, independent work style and team skills
• Excellent German and English language skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
