NVIDIA seeks highly motivated individuals to join its fast-paced customer delivery team as Vehicle Adaptation Engineers. In this role, you will support adapting NVIDIA’s autonomous driving software to various vehicle variants and drive the functionality towards maturity. This involves tuning and adapting self-driving software in target vehicles and testing environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Integrate ADAS functions and tune software parameters for optimal customer experience.
  • Drive the deployment across a fleet of various car models.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and operate software systems.
  • Understand quality standards and functionality expectations for new features. Communicate results to customers and development teams.
  • Analyze and diagnose issues, identify root causes, and contribute to product improvements.

What We Need To See

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, with at least 3 years of related industry experience.
  • Proficiency in embedded systems, C/C++, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Experience working with Linux and QNX environments via command line.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer interaction skills.
  • Passion for automotive technology, autonomous driving, or software engineering.
  • Onsite presence in Sindelfingen/Stuttgart area, with flexible working hours and willingness to travel across Europe for testing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as an ADAS software engineer at Tier 1 or OEM.
  • Knowledge of autonomous vehicle system architecture and integration challenges.
  • Understanding of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • EU driver’s license and advanced driving skills with special training (T2) for prototype testing.
