Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

The Corporate Travel, Meetings & Events Manager will serve as a regional leader overseeing strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of Intuitive’s corporate travel, meetings & events across EMEA. This role is crucial in advancing our mission by delivering innovative, scalable, and compliant programs that enhance employee experiences, support business objectives, and reflect our culture of excellence.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in global travel and strategic meetings management, with a proven ability to drive operational efficiency, vendor performance, and policy alignment across diverse markets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a multi-year strategy for corporate travel and events in EMEA aligned with global business goals.
  2. Translate business needs into scalable programs prioritizing experience, cost control, risk mitigation, and brand consistency.
  3. Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and travel technology innovations to inform strategy.
  4. Manage high-value vendor relationships including TMCs, venue partners, and event service providers to ensure service excellence and contractual compliance.
  5. Negotiate regional and global supplier agreements, including preferred hotel programs and air/car partnerships.
  6. Collaborate with Procurement and Legal teams on vendor evaluation, RFPs, and contracting processes.
  7. Promote a traveler-first approach by identifying friction points and deploying solutions to enhance satisfaction and compliance.
  8. Partner with HR, Security, and Finance to uphold duty of care and travel risk protocols.
  9. Serve as escalation point for complex or high-impact travel and event scenarios.
  10. Advance the Strategic Meetings Management Program (SMMP) to support internal training, leadership summits, field events, and high-visibility programs.
  11. Oversee planning, logistics, compliance, and brand execution for all events.
  12. Implement and optimize meeting technology platforms like CVENT, SAP Concur, and Conferma.
  13. Manage reporting and analytics for travel and events KPIs, budget forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  14. Use dashboards and data insights to identify gaps, drive cost savings, and influence decisions.
  15. Present performance updates to senior leadership and global stakeholders.
  16. Collaborate with EMEA business units, Global Travel & Events, and other partners to ensure alignment and best practices.
  17. Act as change agent for new processes, tools, and policies in the region.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in tourism, travel, hospitality management, event planning, or related field
  • Certifications such as CMM, CMP, GBTA certifications
  • Proficiency with travel management and payment tools (e.g., SAP Concur, American Express, AirPlus, Conferma, CVENT)
  • At least 8 years of experience in corporate travel, meetings, or global event management roles
  • Successful management of regional or global TMC relationships, vendor sourcing, and high-value negotiations
  • Experience designing and executing corporate meetings and events of various scales
  • Deep understanding of SMMP principles, event tech platforms, and EMEA regulations
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, including budget management and spend optimization
  • Effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and professional presence
  • Fluent in English; German or French preferred
