As our HSE- & CI Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in creating and implementing a sound health, safety and environmental culture at Dawn Foods. You will work closely with various teams on our site in Darmstadt and with the European HSE-CI team to create a safe and innovative working environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Creation, maintenance and implementation of an HSE strategy taking into account Dawn's internal as well as legal requirements
• Implementing a strong, sustainable culture of continuous improvement
• Initiating and managing measures to specifically increase safety and efficiency at our production site
• Creation and follow-up of risk assessments and work instructions
• Conducting training courses and supporting the transfer of knowledge to all work areas
• Cooperation with the quality department during internal and external audits
• Communicating with the employers' liability insurance association, company's medical service and authorities on occupational health and safety issues
• Project work in the European HSE team, also for other locations

What do you bring?

You are a structured, team-oriented person who likes to take on responsibility and enjoys developing and implementing effective measures. We’re looking for someone who has:

• Professional practical technical education (Ausbildung Meister or Techniker) or a bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Ideally a qualification as an occupational safety specialist in accordance with German §7 ASiG
• At least three years of professional experience in a similar position
• High quality and safety awareness
• Structured and independent way of working
• Fluent German (C1 level) and solid English skills (B2 level)
