Group Leader Quality Assurance (m/f/d)

What you'll do:

1. Management of employees from the specified specialist area
2. Quality management of new projects in the development of new components
3. Management and coordination of QA tasks in interdisciplinary co-operation
4. Monitoring the agreed quality targets and reporting on the quality situation
5. Realisation and maintenance of the SMP QM system in accordance with the procedures and processes defined in the QMH and QVA
6. Demonstrating the effectiveness of the QM system in practice
7. Initiation of corrective and preventive measures against possible deviations in products, processes or the QM system
8. Verification of the realisation of measures
9. Systematic planning and initiation of system, process and product audits
10. Direct contact with customers, suppliers and internally relevant departments, as well as subordinate employees/functions
11. Collaboration in projects on quality assurance topics

What we are looking for:

1. Successfully completed engineering studies, training as a technician or master craftsman or a comparable qualification
2. Several years of professional experience in the quality sector, ideally in the automotive industry
3. Very good knowledge of quality processes and methods (8D, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, CIP, Statistics, DOE, Ishikawa)
4. Experience in personnel management
5. Confident demeanour, assertiveness, analytical problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
6. Moderation techniques, rhetoric and project management skills
7. Proficient in MS Office, customer platforms and SAP
8. Good written and spoken English skills
9. Class B driving licence
