We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer for our Payday team (Enterprise features). You will primarily focus on designing, building, and delivering high-impact features that serve our enterprise users. You will own features end-to-end, work across the stack, and collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions. We value engineers with a strong product mindset who care about user impact and understand the 'why' behind what we build.

Recent Shipments: Examples of recent features include:

• Centralized insights dashboard: Provides administrators with real-time overviews of instance health and workflow performance for better monitoring and management of large-scale deployments.
• Enhanced Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Allows administrators to precisely control user access, improving security and compliance.
• Git-backed Environments: Enables safer development workflows with versioning and environment promotion without affecting live automation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, especially in web applications or SaaS.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks like React or Angular.
• Strong experience designing, building, and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL).
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Experience shipping features end-to-end, demonstrating ownership.
• Knowledge of modern testing practices and frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Cypress).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Curiosity and love for learning.

Preferred Skills / Bonus Points:

• Experience with enterprise software features like RBAC and SSO.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Open-source contribution experience.
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms.
