Installation Engineer

Job Description

About us: We are looking for skilled Primary Engineers and Secondary Engineers to support the installation of HVDC / substation equipment and cable works (low and medium voltage) for large-scale projects in Germany.

Tasks:

1. Primary Engineers (HVDC / Substation Equipment): Support the installation of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems and substation equipment.
2. Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of HVDC and substation components.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.

Secondary Engineers (Cable Works - Low & Medium Voltage and Containment):

1. Support cable installation works, including low and medium voltage cables.
2. Install cable containment systems as per project requirements.
3. Conduct inspections, testing, and documentation of cable systems and containment.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. The positions will initially be focused on projects in Germany; however, candidates must be willing to travel across Europe for further projects.

Profile Requirements:

1. Electrical installation background.
2. Previous experience in HVDC, substation equipment, or cable works.
3. Knowledge of installation, testing, and commissioning processes in electrical systems.
4. Fluency in German (both written and spoken) is essential.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with site and project teams.
