To strengthen our team, we are seeking a Quality Resident Team Leader (m/f/d) at our Rastatt plant.

You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of Yazaki products and services by implementing Quality Management Systems, coordinating quality controls, inspections, and countermeasures, and resolving quality issues in compliance with internal and external standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Communicating with customers to address and monitor supplier and customer concerns, and coordinating with Yazaki production plants for data collection
  • Creating, issuing, and tracking the 8D corrective action process
  • Coordinating QRE sites (Rastatt/Germany, Valmet/Finland, KEC/Hungary) and plant visits to verify countermeasures
  • Managing rework activities and reviewing personnel requirements at the customer plant
  • Supporting and guiding the quality engineer at the customer's assembly plant
  • Participating in project and design activities to ensure quality standards
  • Maintaining compliance with quality systems (ISO/TS16949)

What you’ll bring with you:

  • A university degree, preferably with a technical background or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of team management experience
  • Over 3 years of experience in an international automotive company
  • Experience with problem-solving tools (FMEA, control plan, BOS, 8D, APQP)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and escalation skills
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English (written and spoken)
  • Ambitious, flexible, reliable, and resilient under stress
  • Independent, proactive, and well-structured working style
