Your tasks

• You will configure and administer storage systems based on NetApp, Hitachi or PURE.
• Ideally, you also have experience with Nutanix or Ceph as storage virtualization.
• You follow current IT trends and evaluate new technologies, tools and frameworks.
• You can work confidently on a Linux server (or Windows).
• In line with our guiding principle "Knowledge is multiplied by sharing it", you will pass on your expertise to others - both to your colleagues and our students as well as in projects with customers. You can also share your knowledge in our ORDIX blog, as a speaker in our seminars or at specialist conferences - depending on your strengths.

Your profile

• (Technical) university degree in computer science or comparable completed training and at least two years of professional experience
• Project experience in setting up and operating storage systems
• Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows
• Basic knowledge of automation (e.g. Ansible) is advantageous
• Interest in IT trends and technological developments
• You have a perfect command of written and spoken German and a good command of English

Technological environment, methods, tools and processes used

• NetApp, PURE or Hitachi as storage solution
• Alternatives such as Nutanix or Ceph
• Linux Server
• ITSM tools
• Ticket systems like GitLab or Jira
