About the Role:

You will identify and develop new market opportunities by translating customer needs and market trends into material and design requirements. You will provide technical support, secure business, and drive growth for engineering plastics. Acting as a key liaison between R&D and Sales, you will generate business and offer insights to shape future products, leveraging your senior experience.

  • Develop new business opportunities in key global market segments for engineering plastics
  • Translate customer needs into material, design, and functional requirements to secure existing and new business
  • Support business operations through effective project management and CRM tools
  • Provide technical support to ensure product quality and processing performance
  • Analyze market and technology trends for new product development requirements
  • Develop strategic value propositions and contribute to business planning
  • Create marketing and communication materials in collaboration with the team

Qualifications:

  • MSc/PhD in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Technology with industry experience
  • Knowledge of processing technologies for engineering plastics (e.g., injection molding, extrusion)
  • Strong technical expertise, conceptual skills, and communication abilities
  • Fluent in English; German or French is a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally (10–25%)
