Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Manage sales volume for his/her area of responsibility and acquire business with new accounts
2. Ensure sales targets are met
3. Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting and delivering new solutions and services
4. Assess the potential growth of the pertaining areas
5. Contribute to the definition of agreement’s terms (prices, delivery, special conditions of sale…)
6. Create good understanding of company solutions among prospects and build new customer base
7. Prepare commercial reports
8. Work and train regional staff and end users
9. Attend monthly sales meetings and represent the company at trade events
10. Travel required up to 50%

Requirements:

1. Strong background in spectroscopy and life science markets
2. Several years of direct sales expertise with capital equipment in the field of measurement equipment / analytical instruments / life sciences
3. OEM sales experience is a big plus
4. Willingness to travel
5. Results oriented and ambitious
6. English and German language skills
