Blackbird Collective helps startups and mid-sized companies hire the right people. We are HR, not a Sales Organisation. We believe in modern approaches to working and for this reason, we have followed a four-day work week for 8 years and operate as a native remote company. This allows us to find a healthy balance and flexibility between our private lives and delivering quality services to our candidates and clients.

Tasks

  1. You will work on interim projects or specific vacancies for our clients.
  2. You will partner with hiring managers to create meaningful recruiting processes tailored to our clients' needs.
  3. You will guide candidates through the recruiting process, providing an engaging and memorable experience that excites them to join our clients' teams.
  4. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure all projects are delivered in a timely manner.
  5. Expect no internal KPIs, unnecessary reporting, or Excel sheets — we are a trust-managed team.
  6. You won't be expected to stay after hours.
  7. You will be involved in and informed about every aspect related to Blackbird Collective.

Requirements

  1. You have strong recruiting experience, particularly in the IT sector, working for tech companies in Germany.
  2. You are based in Germany and willing to work independently from home, with regular meetings with colleagues. Our "headquarter" is a permaculture farm in Brandenburg.
  3. You have a reason to work a four-day week, as we all do (the position is for 20-32 hours per week).
  4. Knowledge of HR topics and German language skills are a strong plus.
  5. You understand that recruiting is a game of speed but more importantly, quality.
  6. You are pragmatic, know how to prioritize, and always deliver quality work with a strong eye for detail.
  7. You have experience working for modern and fast-moving companies.
  8. You understand that diversity is more than just a number of nationalities in the team.
  9. You believe in a modern approach to work-life balance, and you’re sick of 50-hour workweeks and daily commutes.
