Talent Partner (German Speaking) - 6 month fixed term contract

Hybrid in London, Berlin, or Frankfurt

The team

The mission of the iwoca People Operations team is to develop and implement strategies that enable iwoca to attract, develop and retain the best talent.

The role

In this 6 month fixed term contract you will be responsible for leading recruitment efforts for Team Germany (roles based in Frankfurt, Berlin and London) as well as supporting other iwoca teams with their recruitment needs. Day to day you will:

  • Work with our hiring teams to understand their recruitment needs and implement effective and inclusive interview processes
  • Develop tailored strategies for hiring across different roles and levels, including Credit Analysts, Account Managers, and Collections Specialists, all requiring German language skills
  • Create compelling role profiles and utilise diverse sourcing channels to attract candidates
  • Manage each step of the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Develop salary recommendations with hiring managers and negotiate effectively
  • Champion iwoca's employer brand and employee value proposition to potential candidates

Candidate requirements

  • Experience hiring in the German market with strong communication skills in German (C1/C2 level) and English
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ambitious, driven, and committed to finding the best talent
  • Willingness to improve processes and test new sourcing methods
  • Excellent organisation and negotiation skills
  • Experience in financial services industry is desirable

Salary

Expected from £40,000 to £60,000, with openness to salary goals included in applications. Salaries are benchmarked against market rates with quarterly reviews.
