Position Summary

TELEFLEX - IMPROVING THE HEALTH AND QUALITY OF PEOPLES' LIVES

Come join our team! We have a 10-month fixed-term contract vacancy for a maternity leave-cover EMEA Recruiter. This position can be based remotely anywhere in Germany.

We are looking for a dynamic individual responsible for service excellence throughout the recruitment cycle. They act as a brand ambassador for the organization, focused on delivering exceptional talent and providing proactive, timely communication on search status. They serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, offering consultative guidance and industry expertise to our hiring leaders.

This role will support recruitment projects across all Teleflex EMEA Business Units and HR partnerships, including direct recruiting activities, job postings, interview management, and negotiations with candidates. As our company grows, this role will also focus on process automation and productivity enhancement.

  1. Coordinate recruitment processes, working with hiring managers to plan interview schedules.
  2. Create and maintain recruitment data in HR systems.
  3. Maintain candidate database compliant with EU laws.
  4. Develop reports to track recruitment metrics such as cost per hire and time to fill.
  5. Assist managers and employees with recruitment-related inquiries and problem resolution.
  6. Support recruitment activities: developing job specs, posting jobs, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, scheduling candidates, and managing expenses.
  7. Develop staffing strategies and future talent pipelines.
  8. Participate in HR projects related to talent acquisition.
  9. Verify headcount requests, funding, and stakeholder approvals.
  10. Organize recruitment events with third parties, within budget.
  11. Stay informed on industry trends and employment legislation.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • At least three years of results-oriented recruiting experience.
  • Experience in commercial recruitment or the life sciences industry (medical device preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Business-fluent English and German.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent follow-up.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in Boolean sourcing techniques.
  • Experience with digital sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor).
  • Proficient in PCs and MS Office.
  • Approachable, professional, and capable of handling confidential information.
