Senior Application Engineer – Mixed Signal - Munich, Germany
Must be able to speak B1 / B2 German at least and must have German residency
What you will do :
You will receive comprehensive onboarding in our High-Speed SerDes products.
Evaluate and characterize the analog functions (SerDes, PLL, OpAmp, etc.) of our latest products.
Develop measurement methods and perform statistical analysis of measurement data.
Write software in Python and C / C++ to control our products, measurement instruments, and interface analyzers.
Develop reference designs and application boards using Altium Designer.
Work in an international team closely with experienced engineers from chip design, field application, and product testing to bring our products to market readiness and meet customer requirements.
Actively participate in developing projects for current and next-generation automotive systems and serve as a key contact for our international customers.

What you bring :
Enthusiasm for complex electronic challenges and excitement about commissioning new products and offering support.
Enjoy working with lab instruments like oscilloscopes, VNA, TDR, and pattern generators.
Knowledge in the development and characterization of high-speed interfaces is a great advantage (e.g., jitter analysis, eye diagram, TDR).
Familiarity with SerDes architectures (FIR, AGC, DFE, CTL) is highly beneficial.
Experience in Python programming is a significant plus.
Experience in PCB development (Altium Designer) is a plus.
Experience with 3D field simulation tools (CST or HFSS) is beneficial.
A degree (TU / FH) in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a comparable field.
Strong communication skills in both German and English.
