Success depends on close collaboration with the Talent & Development Head, IM Germany, and various internal teams. The role involves engaging external organizations and strategic partners aligned with talent attraction and engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Talent Strategy: Collaborate with the Talent & Development Head to support and implement early career initiatives, ensuring diversity and inclusion are integrated into the strategy.
- Program Review: Review and consolidate existing early career programs in key skill areas.
- Employer Branding: Partner with marketing and hiring managers to craft compelling job advertisements aligned with Novartis branding and value propositions.
- Apprenticeship & Dual Student Management: Manage the full cycle from hiring to placement, providing support and guidance to apprentices and students.
- Program Positioning: Align apprenticeship and dual student programs with broader talent and business objectives.
- Trainee Program Development: Build strong relationships with business units to develop a strategy that aligns trainees with organizational needs and ensures effective placement.
- Program Improvement: Continuously enhance the trainee program in collaboration with the Early Career team.
- University Relations: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with universities and student organizations, especially focusing on high-relevance institutions in Germany.
Qualifications
- Degree in business administration, human resources, marketing, strategy, or MSc in Organizational Psychology.
- Experience in executing early career initiatives within a global matrix organization; talent management and acquisition experience preferred.
- Creative, innovative mindset with a focus on process improvement and candidate experience.
- Strong data management, tracking, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
