To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Location: Frankfurt Airport (Cargo City Süd) with Home Office Option

Your Responsibilities:

Lead and support a small team within the accounting department
Oversee and ensure timely preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with local GAAP (experience in a corporate group environment is a plus)
Drive and support the implementation of digital processes within the accounting function
Actively participate in cross-functional projects focused on process improvement and automation
Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and accruals
Prepare financial reports and collaborate closely with Controlling and Management
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies
Train and mentor junior team members, supporting their professional development

Your Profile:

Completed commercial education with further qualification as Certified Accountant ("Bilanzbuchhalter") or equivalent degree in Finance/Accounting
At least 5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, ideally in an international or corporate environment
First leadership experience or experience in supervising team members
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficient in SAP R/3 (FI/CO) and advanced MS Excel skills
Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
Hands-on mentality with a structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience in project work, particularly in digital transformation initiatives within Finance
