My client, a World-Leading Financial Services provider is looking for a Calypso Trading Application Administrator to join their Operations Team. In this role you will be performing Technical tests, Automations and providing Second level support for teams across the business; supporting a Market-leader in its field.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• The day-to-day-support and operational responsibilities of their particular Clearing system
• The support of business test cases as well as your own technical tests.
• Acceptance Test Configurations
• Software Installations
• Troubleshooting and the resolving problems and issues.
• 2nd-level support for both external and internal customers (in accordance with shift schedule)
• Maintaining the operations handbook
• The Participation in shift rotation for a few days per month as well as taking over on-call duties and occasional weekend work.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Notable experience in Calypso software Back-office operations and configurations.
• Experience and understanding of Back-Office Operations
• System management knowledge with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise).
• Hands-on experience in Linux scripting (Bash, Python '?') and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Command Line Interface (oc)
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written in English.
• Good communication skills, ability to operate in a team and to contribute to the team work.

It would be an asset to have:

• An understanding and experience with RedHat OpenShift Platform
• Experience with container orchestration, e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• A familiarity or working knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure etc.
