Job Description:

This role is based in Kaiserslautern, RP. Operations is the heart of Amazon, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and dispatch to meet customer expectations. As an Area Manager, you will oversee site operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and high quality, leading a team and managing various projects to enhance productivity.

Key job responsibilities:

1. Create and promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
2. Analyze and implement improvements to maintain high quality and productivity.
3. Lead projects to streamline processes and increase service quality.
4. Monitor shift performance and implement actions for operational excellence.
5. Collaborate with management to standardize shift practices.

A day in the life:

You will work at one of our sites, focusing on productivity, safety, and quality standards. Your day will include team management, process improvements, and operational contingency tasks, serving as a role model and mentor to new managers.

Qualifications:

• A degree
• Experience in people management
• Experience communicating with stakeholders
• Data-driven decision-making skills
• Proficiency in English
• Willingness to learn German

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen
• Logistics experience
• MS Office skills
