Freelance Trademark & Brand Name Specialist (Germany)

We are seeking a freelance trademark specialist based in Germany to assist with brand name registration and trademark searches for our international education company, Abakus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct availability checks for company/brand names in Germany
2. Assist with trademark registration (wordmarks, possibly logos)
3. Provide guidance on the registration process and required documentation
4. Ensure compliance with German trademark laws

Project Scope:

1. Short-term freelance collaboration (project-based)
2. Remote work

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in trademark registration in Germany
2. Knowledge of DPMA (German Patent and Trade Mark Office) procedures
3. Ability to conduct clearance searches for brand names
4. Fluent in English (working language). German is a plus.
5. Preferably based in Germany.
