Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Release Owner (m/f/d) for our process automation projects at the Minden location. If you have a strong understanding of project management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and technical implementation, we offer you the opportunity to contribute significantly to the success of innovative projects in the process industry. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Monitoring and controlling project progress to ensure that agreed-upon goals and milestones are achieved.
2. Identifying and managing interdependencies between projects and project-related constraints to realize the intended benefits.
3. Ensuring that the team understands customer value in the projects, ensures customer satisfaction, and appropriately manages stakeholder expectations.
4. Engaging stakeholders in defining customer value and integrating their feedback into project activities.
5. Providing technical support for projects and collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications for the role

• At least 2 years of experience in development projects, working as a Lead Developer, Team Lead, Product Manager, or Project Manager with MS Teams, Azure DevOps, MS Office, or other planning tools in process automation, chemicals, oil & gas market.
• Experience in managing project scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and R&D development processes.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or Automation Engineering, or experience as a Software, Firmware, or Hardware Engineer in process automation.
• Solution-oriented approach with strong communication skills, as well as a proactive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.
• Negotiation-level proficiency in German and fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• You hold a valid work permit for Germany or the European Union.
